The flow rate in the pipeline should not increase or decrease sharply, and phenomena such as pipeline vibration, hydraulic shock and rapid pressure fluctuation should be avoided, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the instrument. 8. When the flow rate exceeds the specified maximum flow rate, the wear of the oval gear increases with the increase of rotation speed, and the pressure loss increases sharply, so it should be avoided. Below the minimum flow rate, although it can still be measured, the error will increase. The starting flow of the flowmeter is about 2% of the maximum flow, and the normal working flow is preferably 70% to 80% of the maximum flow. 9. When used to measure high viscosity liquids, the liquid is generally heated to reduce the viscosity, and then circulated in the pipeline. When the meter is deactivated, the liquid filled in the meter cools and becomes viscous. If it is to be activated again, the liquid must be heated with steam outside the meter body, and the viscosity of the liquid in the meter can be reduced before it can be used. Otherwise, the mucus will bite the transmission parts and cause damage to the meter. 10. The temperature of the liquid to be measured should not be higher than the specified value, and the meter will even be stuck if it exceeds the specified value. Liquid temperature changes can also cause additional errors that affect viscosity. In addition, the increase in temperature also increases the volume of the crescent-shaped space, which makes the instrument 'go slow'. When the measuring chamber is cast iron and the oval gear is cast aluminum, the additional error is +0.14%/100°C. 11. Each instrument is calibrated with No. 7 mechanical oil at room temperature when it leaves the factory. The viscosity of the oil at room temperature is about 10 centipoise. If the viscosity of the liquid used by the user is quite different from this, the double-layer gear can be replaced. 12.
