How to solve the problem of insufficient back pressure of mass flowmeter and the method of pressure control? Taking existing pipelines as an example, mass flow meters are usually installed at oil transfer stations, distribution metering stations and terminal stations. According to different measurement ranges, two or more flowmeters are usually installed, mainly for flow detection in transfer metering . The mass flow meter is used to adjust the pressure of the oil from the upstream, and then measure it after degassing and filtration. After the flow meter, a regulating valve is installed. The regulating valve has the functions of throttling and back pressure control, and then it is transported to the oil tank area of the oil depot. When the distribution metering station or terminal station is built on the basis of the reservoir area, the distribution station is closer to the oil tank area, the distribution pipeline is shorter, and the friction along the way is relatively small. If the distribution flow does not reach the maximum value, and the regulating valve is not set or the opening of the regulating valve is unreasonably set, the back pressure of the flowmeter may be low (ideal work regardless of the elevation difference between the oil depot and the metering station) condition). In order to ensure sufficient back pressure of the flowmeter, it is necessary to properly design the installation of the flowmeter to achieve effective control of the backpressure. Through reasonable selection, the problem of insufficient back pressure of the flowmeter can be effectively avoided. First, select the structure and material of the flowmeter according to the measured medium characteristics. There are many kinds of measuring tubes for Coriolis mass flowmeters, which can be divided into continuous type, double tube type and single tube type according to their different structures. For the measurement of easily vaporized liquids or liquids containing air bubbles, a tube type that is not easy to accumulate gas or air bubbles should be selected. Secondly, for volatile media such as refined oil, it is necessary to calculate the low back pressure required to prevent cavitation when selecting a flowmeter. If the actual working pressure is higher than the low working pressure that does not cause cavitation, cavitation will not occur; if it is lower than the low working pressure, cavitation may occur, for which the following measures can be taken: a. Increase the diameter of the measuring pipe, reduce the high flow rate, and re-select the table; b. Increase the working pressure in the pipeline; c. Choose a flowmeter with a small overcurrent pressure drop. Appropriately reduce the pipe diameter of the distribution branch line and increase the length of the distribution pipeline as much as possible within a reasonable range to increase the friction along the way. Add a suitable orifice after the mass flow meter to ensure sufficient back pressure. This setting has been applied in foreign projects, but less in domestic projects. Placing a regulating valve after the flow meter is a common method of controlling back pressure. The regulating valve installed behind the flowmeter can ensure the full flow in the flowmeter through throttling of the valve body, and can ensure that the back pressure behind the flowmeter meets the requirements. For the on-site flow test of the distribution station and the terminal station, the opening of the regulating valve can be directly determined to ensure that there is no vaporization phenomenon under different working flow rates. The back pressure will affect the measurement accuracy of the Coriolis mass flowmeter. For the easy-to-vaporize medium, the back pressure may be low at the distribution station and the final station. Attention should be paid to the influence of the back pressure factor on the mass flowmeter. When selecting and designing, ensure sufficient back pressure behind the flowmeter through reasonable flowmeter selection, regulating valve selection and opening control.
