Requirements for piping: The inner diameter of the upstream and downstream piping at the installation point of the turbine flowmeter is the same as the inner diameter of the flowmeter. 2. Requirements for straight pipe sections: the flowmeter must be installed on the pipeline to a certain extent (the pipeline inclination is within 50°), the axis of the flowmeter should be concentric with the axis of the pipeline during installation, and the flow direction should be consistent. The length of the upstream pipeline of the flowmeter should have an equal-diameter straight pipe section not less than 2D. If the installation site permits, it is recommended that the upstream straight pipe section be 20D and the downstream one be 5D. 3. Requirements for the bypass pipe: In order to ensure that the normal operation of the medium is not affected during the maintenance of the turbine meter, a cut-off valve (stop valve) should be installed on the front and rear pipes of the flowmeter, and a bypass pipe should be installed at the same time. The flow control valve should be installed downstream of the flowmeter. When the flowmeter is in use, the shut-off valve installed upstream must be fully opened to prevent the fluid flow in the upstream part from being unstable. 4. Requirements for the external environment: it is best to install the flowmeter indoors. When it must be installed outdoors, sunscreen and rainproof must be used. Requirements for impurities in the medium: In order to ensure the service life of the turbine meter, a filter should be installed before the straight pipe section of the flowmeter. 5. Requirements for type selection: the type selection should be within the specified flow range, avoid overspeed operation, so as to ensure the ideal accuracy and normal service life. It is not allowed to open the front of the flowmeter at will when it is running. Change the relevant internal parameters, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the flowmeter. Install the gasket carefully to ensure that no protrusions enter the pipe to avoid interfering with proper flow measurement. When the flowmeter is calibrated, the pressure should be collected on the pressure port of the flowmeter. Before installing the pre-turbine meter, the debris in the pipeline should be cleaned: debris, welding slag, stones, dust, etc. It is recommended to install a filter with a 5 micron mesh in the upstream to stop droplets and sand. When the flowmeter is put into operation, the front valve should be opened slowly first, and then the rear valve should be opened to avoid damage to the turbine due to sudden airflow impact. Lubricating oil should be operated according to the notice board, and the frequency of refueling depends on the cleanliness of the gas, usually 2-3 times a year. Overrunning of the turbine due to pressure testing, purging of pipes or exhaust, and operation of the turbine in reverse flow may damage the flowmeter.
