Precautions during installation of mass flowmeter 1. Since the mass flowmeter relies on the principle of vibration generated when the fluid flows through the pipeline to achieve the purpose of measurement, the installation state of the mass flowmeter should be in a stress-free state, and the installation of the flowmeter should be consistent with the pipeline. On the same axis, and should be supported near the mass flowmeter sensor, and the sensor must not be used to support the pipeline, which can eliminate vibration and reduce errors. 2. The selected installation location should be far away from large transformers or motors, because the cable connected between the sensor and the transmitter is covered or approached by the electromagnetic field emitted by the motor, etc., which will cause interference and cause inaccurate readings and errors. In addition, different installation orientations should be selected according to the different properties of the fluid during installation, that is, the fluid in the sensor tube should always be kept full. 3. Entrained air bubbles. When used for liquid flow measurement, when the mist-like gas content exceeds 1% to 5% volume content, the mass flowmeter will stop working. These bubbles dampen the vibration of the flow tubes used to generate the Coriolis force and should eliminate the gas before the sensor. If this is difficult to achieve, minimize the gas content (increase the pressure inside the sensor as much as possible) to ensure that the gas bubbles are evenly dispersed into smaller bubbles (maintain a high liquid flow rate). Bubbles are created when the pressure of a liquid is lower than its vapor pressure. The pressure drop across the sensor caused by the geometry of the flow tube and the flow of the liquid can reduce the effective pressure of the liquid below its vapor pressure, and gas in the pipe liquid can have the same effect on the sensor as fog or bubbles. Once the sensor size is determined, the back pressure required to maintain the liquid state can be calculated. The sensor should be installed in a place that can meet the required back pressure. 4. Sediment and suspended matter. Mass flow meters can calculate the mass content of one component in a two-component solution or slurry. Situations that must be avoided for accurate density measurement are: deposits adhering to the measuring tube wall or solid particles settling out of suspension (flow rate too low). 5. Vibration. The introduction of the dual-pipe design greatly reduces but does not absolutely eliminate the effect of common mode vibration on the mass flowmeter. External vibration introduced by the piping system can cause the sensor to vibrate in an undesired manner. If the external vibration frequency is equal to or close to the frequency of the sensor drive system, it will interfere with the drive control system of the instrument, causing the flow tube to vibrate unstable or stop. 6. Installation in hazardous locations. If you need to install the instrument in an explosive place, you must first pay attention to whether the instrument is an intrinsically safe instrument, and determine whether the installation is allowed according to the requirements of the on-site explosion-proof level and the instrument's immediate certification documents. During the installation process, the influence of ambient temperature on sensors, transmitters, cables and other related components should also be considered. Waterproof is considered for outdoor installation, and the length of the cable is considered for the split mass flowmeter (refer to the corresponding product manual for details). 7. The principle of step-by-step optimization of the flow field. In principle, the Coriolis mass flowmeter is not affected by the distribution of the flow field, and there is no need for front and rear straight pipe sections. In actual field applications, not all types of flowmeters are not affected by the distribution of the flow field. Although the Coriolis force mass flowmeter does not have high requirements on the flow field distribution, for the double vibrating tube type Coriolis force mass flowmeter, when the flow field changes too sharply, it may cause inaccurate measurement. 8. Other precautions. In addition to the above points to be considered, when choosing the installation site, the following principles should also be followed: When using a mass flowmeter to measure liquid media, especially liquids that are easy to vaporize or liquid media containing a small amount of gas, the flow sensor should be Install the sensor at the lower part of the pipeline instead of the high part of the pipeline to prevent the entrained gas from accumulating in the measuring tube and cause measurement errors; when using a mass flowmeter to face the gas medium, especially non-dry gas or For gaseous media that are easy to liquefy under high pressure, the flow sensor should be installed at the higher part of the pipeline instead of the lower part of the pipeline, so as to avoid the accumulation of liquid in the measuring tube and the accuracy of image measurement. In addition, if possible, the convenience of flowmeter installation, daily maintenance and disassembly should also be considered. For example, the flowmeter should be installed downstream of the steam purge pipeline, and be careful not to install the sensor too high, and not to install it in a place where there are many and complicated pipelines around. These practices will provide convenience for the installation and daily maintenance of the flowmeter.
In today's world, have risen to an unexpected level of insertion ultrasonic flow meter. It has gained a lot of popularity and has come up with different kinds of variations in its content.
