Sexuality, which causes changes in the measurement sensitivity of mass flowmeter sensor flow and density, cannot be ignored for high-accuracy measurement. Solution: We can eliminate or reduce this effect by performing pressure compensation and zero-point calibration with pressure on the mass flowmeter. There are two methods for pressure compensation configuration: (1) If the operating pressure is a known fixed value, you can input an external pressure value on the mass flowmeter transmitter for compensation. (2) If the operating pressure changes significantly, mass flowmeter transmitter configuration can be performed to poll an external pressure measurement device, and the real-time dynamic pressure value can be obtained through this external pressure measurement device for compensation. NOTE: When configuring pressure compensation, a flow proof pressure must be provided. Since the current flowmeter manufacturing technology can only accurately measure single-phase flow, in the actual measurement process, when the working conditions change, the liquid medium will vaporize and form two-phase flow, which will affect the normal measurement. Solution: Improve the working conditions of the fluid medium, so that the air bubbles in the process fluid are distributed as evenly as possible to meet the requirements of the normal measurement of the flowmeter. The specific measures are as follows: (1) Straight pipe laying. Swirls caused by elbows in the pipeline can cause air bubbles to enter the sensor conduit unevenly, causing measurement errors. (2) Increase the flow rate. The purpose of increasing the flow rate is to make the bubbles in the two-phase flow pass through the measuring tube at the same speed as they enter the measuring tube, so that the buoyancy of the bubbles and the effect of low-viscosity fluid can be counteracted (bubbles in low-viscosity fluids are not easy to disperse and easily gather into large groups) , when using a Micro Motion flowmeter, it is recommended that the flow rate is not lower than 1/5 of the full scale. (3) Choose to install in vertical pipes with upward flow. At low flow rates, the air bubbles will gather in the upper half of the measuring tube; after the vertical pipe is laid, the buoyancy of the air bubbles together with the flowing medium can easily discharge the air bubbles evenly. (4) Use a rectifier to help the distribution of air bubbles in the fluid, and the effect of using it with the air eliminator is better. The change of the density of the measuring medium will directly affect the flow measurement system, which will change the balance of the flow sensor and cause zero point offset; and the viscosity of the medium will change the damping characteristics of the system, resulting in zero point offset. Solution: Try to use medium with little difference in density when measuring single or several.
