The installation of the vortex flowmeter must ensure that the arrow on the sensor nameplate is pointing in the same direction as the fluid flow and must meet the minimum front and rear straight pipe requirements in the figure below. At the same time, the following requirements must be observed. 2.1 Installation of measuring gas or steam flowmeter When measuring gas or steam, the vortex flowmeter should be installed on a horizontal pipeline, and attention should be paid to prevent liquid from stagnant when piping. The pipe section of the street flow meter is raised. The vortex flowmeter is installed on the vertical pipeline, and the flow direction is not limited. If the measured gas contains a small amount of liquid, the gas flow should be from bottom to top, as shown in Figure 2. When the vortex flowmeter is installed on a horizontal pipeline, the pipeline in the downstream section should be higher than the vortex flowmeter to keep the pipe full; when the fluid flows downward, the pipeline in the downstream section should be higher than the vortex flowmeter to avoid Keep the tube full. When the flowmeter is installed on a vertical pipe, the fluid should flow upwards, and when the fluid flows downwards, the downstream section of the pipe should be higher than the vortex flowmeter to keep the pipe full, as shown in Figure 3.
