Due to the need for mass flow measurement in industrial development, especially the urgent demand for direct mass flowmeters, the continuous development of flow dose has been promoted. The industrial field hopes to achieve the goal of quality detection through known scientific knowledge. Under this situation, mass flowmeters with different forms and different measurement media begin to appear continuously. Measurement of solid mass flow In 1904, Bousser of the United States produced the earliest measurement of solid mass flow. The principle of this device is based on momentum. In 1929, the mass flowmeter for falling solid particles was developed and became a primary product combining theory and practice. In 1957, the method of measuring solid particles by the principle of momentum was proposed. In 1963, Japan’s Sankyo Electric Company used vertical force to detect solid flow devices, and in 1968 the device was improved to use horizontal component force for detection, and then developed into an impulse flowmeter. At present, there are many impulse flowmeters for measuring solid mass flow at home and abroad. The principles of these products are almost the same, such as the domestic LFD series. Gas mass flowmeter In 1911, American scholars proposed a flowmeter that used the hot wire method to measure gas quality. In 1914, L.V.King realized the measurement by replacing the gas cooling rate by the change of electrical resistance. Today, many heat flow mass flowmeters are applied to this method. In 1964, with the help of the Magnus effect, Dijeck of the United States completed the development of a differential pressure mass flowmeter and measured the gas mass flow. At present, in the application of gas mass flow meters, there are relatively many heat flow types, such as the domestic 86—Series, USA 58—series etc. Liquid mass flowmeters In mass flowmeters, there are relatively many types of devices for measuring liquids. Whether it is a momentum mass flow meter, a differential pressure mass flow meter or a heat flow mass flow meter, it can measure liquids. In 1962, twin-turbine liquid and gas mass flowmeters appeared. In 1973, the United States developed a liquid measurement device capable of calibrating nonlinear turbine mass flowmeters. At present, the Coriolis mass flowmeter manufactured by Rosemount Company in the United States in the 1970s is relatively widely used. On this basis, countries have also produced products similar to Coriolis flowmeters.
