It can be used without live flow calibration, which is rare in flow meters. ② Wide range of applications. It is not only suitable for all single-phase fluids, but also can measure some mixed-phase flows, such as gas-solid, vapor-liquid, solid-liquid, etc. ③ Suitable for high temperature and high pressure, large diameter and small flow. ④ It is not sensitive to vibration and has excellent anti-interference ability. (4) Limitations of Throttled Differential Pressure Flowmeter ① The measurement accuracy is at a medium level among flowmeters. Due to the intricate influence of many factors, it is difficult to improve the accuracy. ② The range is narrow. Since the instrument signal (differential pressure) and the flow rate are in a square relationship, the general range is only 3:1 to 4:1. ③ The requirements for on-site installation conditions are relatively high. If a long straight pipe section (referring to orifice plate, nozzle) is required, it is generally difficult to meet. ④ The pressure-inducing pipeline between the throttling device and the differential pressure display instrument is a weak link, which is prone to leakage, blockage, freezing, signal distortion and other faults.
