When the size of the air bubble is equal to or greater than the size of the electrode end face of the flowmeter and passes over the electrode, the electrode may be covered by the gas, causing the circuit to be disconnected instantaneously, resulting in output shaking, or even malfunctioning. ② Coriolis force mass flow meter. Manufacturers usually claim that the liquid containing a few percent by volume of free gas has little effect on the normal measurement of the Coriolis mass flowmeter. When the bubbles contained in the measured liquid are small and uniform, such as ice cream and similar emulsions , may be right. However, the experimental results are not optimistic. According to relevant literature, the Italian Institute of Metrology has tested 7 types of Coriolis mass flowmeters on the influence of gas content. It shows that some models have no obvious influence when containing bubbles IX (volume ratio), and some models have an error of 1^〜2^, and up to 10^ for one of the twin-tube models〜15^; when 10^ contains bubbles, the error generally increases to 15^〜20^, individual models up to 80^. It can be seen that different measuring tube structures and different types of Coriolis flowmeters are greatly affected by the gas content, and the test data of one type cannot be extended to other types. ③ Ultrasonic flowmeter. The working principle of the doppler ultrasonic flowmeter is as described in section 3, 3, and 2, and it is mainly used to measure liquids containing a certain amount of particles or bubbles that can give strong reflection signals. This type of instrument only measures the volume flow rate or the average flow rate in the measuring tube. If the mass flow rate is to be measured, a fluid density meter must be added.
