Abstract: The brief installation guide information of the plug-in bar-type flow meter is provided by the excellent flow meter and flow meter manufacturer and quotation manufacturer. Insertion bar flowmeters, also called uniform velocity tube flowmeters, such as Annubar flowmeters, Verabar flowmeters, Delta Bar flowmeters, etc., are widely used in industrial sites, especially in large-diameter pipeline flow measurement. The majority of users share their concise installation instructions. More flowmeter manufacturers choose models and price quotations. You are welcome to inquire. The following is a brief installation guide for plug-in bar-type flowmeters. Insertion bar flowmeters, also called uniform velocity tube flowmeters, such as Annubar flowmeters, Verabar flowmeters, Delta Bar flowmeters, etc., are widely used in industrial sites, especially in large-diameter pipeline flow measurement. The majority of users share their concise installation guide below. Step 1: Determine the correct installation direction and straight pipe section requirements of the Annubar flowmeter; Step 2: Drill holes in the pipeline. Note: The pipeline must be drilled. If acetylene gas or other ablation methods are used to open the hole, the maximum flow error after installation can reach 10%. a. Depressurize the pipeline and discharge the accumulated liquid. b. Select the location where you will drill. For vertical pipelines, holes can be drilled at any position along the circumference. For horizontal pipelines, the location of the openings depends on the fluid application measured by the bar-type flowmeter: for liquids, the openings are at the bottom of the pipeline; for gases, the openings are at the top of the pipeline; for steam, the openings are at the bottom of the pipeline. c. According to the above table, determine the size of the opening. d. After opening the hole, remove the burr inside the hole. e. If it is also necessary to install the opposite support, drill the second hole in the opposite direction of the first opening, and then remove the burrs in the hole. Step 3: Weld the welded connector to the pipeline, a. Assemble the flowmeter with the factory-supplied welded connector, and insert it into the drilled hole. b. Position the line with the upper plane of the installation head of the flowmeter (or the transmitter, if it is an integrated instrument) to make it parallel to the pipeline. c. Spot welding. Fasten the solder connection to the line and remove the bar sensor such as the Annubar. d. Before welding, in order to prevent the splash of welding slag from damaging the thread of the connector, wrap the thread part with thick aluminum foil provided by the factory. Or screw on a protective nut and weld evenly to prevent the deformation of the weldment and complete the welding. Step 4: Insert and install the bar-type flowmeter a. After the installation connector is completely cooled, install the connector. b. Install the first sealing ring (packing) between the sealing compression ring and the pre-welded locking ring; be careful not to damage the sealing ring. c. Press the sealing ring into the connecting body to the pre-welded locking ring. Repeat the above steps to install the remaining two sealing rings, and adjust the openings of the sealing rings so that the positions of each opening are staggered by 180 degrees. d. Adjust the direction of the Pak-Lok flowmeter, point the arrow mark on the head of the flowmeter to the fluid direction of the pipeline, and tighten the Pak-Lok compression nut and the connecting body by hand until it stops. e. Use a wrench to lock the nut, evenly lock the nut, and the degree of nut tightening can avoid leakage. Do not tighten the compression nut with excessive force, otherwise the mounting parts will be damaged. Brief installation guide for plug-in bar flow meters (such as Annubar, Verabar, Delta Bar, etc.): Step 1: Determine the correct installation direction of the Annubar flowmeter and straight pipe requirements; Step 2: Drill on the pipeline hole.
