The sharp side of the orifice plate should face the flow direction of the fluid as the inlet port, and the bell-shaped side is the outlet port. If installed upside down, the display will be much smaller. Solution: Check the installation direction of the orifice plate and install the orifice plate correctly. 2 The edge of the orifice plate inlet is worn. If the orifice plate is used for a long time, especially when the measured medium is mixed with solid particles and other impurities, the geometric shape and size of the orifice plate will change. With blunt edges, the measured differential pressure will be smaller and the flow rate will be displayed lower. Solution: Reprocess the orifice plate to make the opening meet the requirements; replace it if it is serious. 3 Transmitter zero point drift If it is used for a long time, the zero point of the transmitter may drift. If it is a negative drift, the displayed differential pressure will decrease, and the displayed flow rate will also decrease. Solution: Correct the zero point of the transmitter. 4. The length of the upstream and downstream straight pipe sections is not enough. If the length of the upstream and downstream straight pipe sections is not enough, the gas will not be fully developed, which will cause large errors in the measurement results. If there are multiple elbows in the specified straight pipe section upstream, the measurement results will be biased. Low. Solution: Transform the steam pipeline so that the length of the upstream and downstream straight pipe sections meets the specified requirements. Install a rectifier before the throttling device. 5 Leakage of the three-valve group of the differential pressure transmitter If the high-pressure valve or the balance valve in the three-valve group leaks, the measured differential pressure will decrease and the measurement result will be low. Solution: If the high-pressure valve in the three-valve group leaks air, tighten the valve and replace it if necessary. If the balance valve in the three-valve group leaks internally, tighten the valve and replace it if necessary. 6. The liquid level of the isolation liquid is not equal. The liquid level in the pressure induction pipe from the condensation tank to the differential pressure transmitter is to separate the high temperature medium from the differential pressure transmitter and protect the differential pressure transmitter. If the liquid level on the low-pressure side is lower than the liquid level on the high-pressure side, the measured differential pressure will decrease and the measured flow rate will decrease. Solution: Check whether the heights of the high and low side condensate tanks are consistent, and if not, correct them. Check whether the height of the condensate tank is higher than the steam pipe, if it is lower than the pipe, raise the height of the condensate tank.
