Flue gas refers to the gaseous substances that pollute the environment produced when fossil fuels such as coal are burned. These substances are usually vented through a flue or chimney. The process of flue gas generation is mostly caused by insufficient utilization of fuel and improper combustion. Its main components are nitrogen, carbon dioxide, oxygen, water vapor and sulfide, including carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide and other harmful gases. Inorganic pollutants account for more than 99%; dust, slag and sulfur dioxide content is less than 1%, and must be emptied after being treated by a gas purification device to reduce environmental pollution. In recent years, environmental problems have become more and more serious, and environmental protection departments have gradually increased their efforts to investigate and deal with them, and strictly monitor the flue gas emissions of relevant units. The effective measure is to force the installation of thermal gas mass flow meters to measure flue gas emissions. The thermal gas mass flowmeter is an instrument that uses the principle of heat conduction to measure flow. The instrument uses the constant temperature difference method to accurately measure the gas mass flow. It has the advantages of small size, high degree of digitization, convenient installation and accurate measurement. The sensor section consists of two reference grade platinum resistance temperature sensors. Using a bridge loop, one sensor measures the flow temperature and the other maintains a constant temperature difference above the fluid temperature, enabling flow measurement at high temperature and pressure. The thermal gas mass flowmeter is a real mass flowmeter. It does not need temperature and pressure compensation for gas flow measurement, and the measurement is convenient and accurate. The mass flow rate or standard volume flow rate of the gas can be obtained. However, engineers still found several problems in the actual application process: 1. Generally, the diameter of a large chimney can reach about 10 meters, and it is difficult to send the sensor to the central position even with an inserted instrument. Inserting the rod to measure, what is the approximate deviation in accuracy? 2. The flue gas emitted by some power plants contains sulfide, which is easy to crystallize. After a period of use, the flowmeter sensor will be blocked by the crystallization layer, which will affect the flow measurement. In actual use, it takes 2~3 months to disassemble, clean and then install it for use. This is very troublesome. Is there a better solution? 3. The sensor made of 316L material will be corroded soon. What is a good sensor material without considering the price factor?
