Installation and use of mass flowmeter (1) There must be at least 0.6m between the conventional key sensor and the large transmitter or motor. Since the sensor operation relies on electromagnetic fields, it is important to avoid installing the sensor near large interfering electromagnetic fields. In addition, the installation location should be carefully selected to avoid vibration as much as possible. (2) The installation position of the sensor when measuring the liquid The installation of the sensor should ensure that the liquid is full, so as to reduce the influence of density changes on the measurement accuracy. When the process piping needs to be cleaned, the installation position should ensure that the liquid is completely drained. To avoid gas accumulation inside the sensor, avoid installing the sensor at the highest end of the piping system. (3) When measuring gas, the installation position is to prevent liquid from accumulating inside the sensor, and it should be avoided to install at the low point of the pipeline. (4) The requirements of the installation direction process and the position of the arranged process pipeline determine the installation direction of most sensors. Although the mounting angle of the sensor does not affect the flowmeter operation, the following recommendations should be considered as far as possible: (a) when measuring liquids, the sensor housing should be installed facing down to avoid air accumulation in the flow tube; (b) when measuring gases, The sensor housing should be installed facing upwards to avoid condensate accumulation in the flow tube; (c) When measuring liquid slurries, the sensor should be installed vertically like a flag to avoid particle accumulation in the flow tube. Process media should flow from bottom to top to avoid jet emptying. (5) Flow direction Regardless of the flow direction, the sensor can accurately measure the flow. Generally, arrows are used on the sensor to indicate the normal flow direction of the fluid. (6) In order to facilitate the zero adjustment of the flowmeter, a stop valve should be installed downstream of the sensor. For batch operation, the sensor and shut-off valve should be as close as possible to the receiving vessel. No hose should be installed between the sensor and the shut-off valve to avoid batch errors caused by expansion or compression. In addition, a regulating valve can be installed downstream to prevent vaporization or evacuation of the medium. (7) Gas-liquid two-phase flow If the process medium produces gas-liquid two-phase flow, the sensor shell should be installed downward, or installed on a vertical pipeline. This installation method can effectively prevent the gas in the medium from accumulating in the flow tube. (8) Loading and unloading metering In loading and unloading metering applications, the sensor housing should be installed facing upwards or vertically. A check valve should be installed downstream of the sensor to prevent backflow of the medium. The check valve should be installed as close to the sensor as possible. In some cases, the process medium cannot be completely removed from the pipeline, and flag installation is generally recommended. When loading or unloading the application, try to follow the following start-up steps: (a) install shut-off valves upstream and downstream of the sensor; (b) close the upstream valve; (c) open part of the downstream valve; (d) slowly open the upstream valve to Bleed air and fill sensor with medium; (e) When flow system begins to meter, slowly open downstream valve until fully open. 2. The key process used in the production of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) in the production of toothpaste grade sodium carboxymethyl cellulose——In the alkalization reaction, it is necessary to precisely control the amount of various chemical raw materials participating in the reaction. In order to ensure product quality, we finally choose Fisher-Rosemount R mass flowmeter to measure the quality of hydrochloric acid, concentrated alkali and alkalized mixture after various examinations and comparisons. According to the above installation principles, we install 3 sets of flow meters. During the test run, it was found that there was an error of about ?% between the measured hydrochloric acid and the process experience value. The installation diagram is shown in the figure. After careful inspection, we found that the amount of hydrochloric acid added in trial production was less than that in normal production. When the stop valve at the rear of the mass flow meter was fully opened, the hydrochloric acid could not completely fill the medium, which affected the measurement of the instrument. Close the rear stop valve slightly and re-test, the result is consistent with the process experience value. After normal production, fully open the globe valve flowmeter also works normally. 3. Summarizing the production and operation results of the past 8 months, it shows that the mass flowmeter is accurate, reliable, maintenance-free, fully exerts the monitoring function of the automatic instrument, and fully meets the high-quality requirements of the enterprise.
